It has been a very busy year in the Whistler real estate marketplace. Sales have been active in all categories and price ranges and our high end and luxury market has been especially active with 80 properties selling for $2,000,000 or more, year to date. The highest price for a Whistler home in 2007 was $13,625,000. In addition, there have been 10 other homes sold at $4,000,000 or above.

Our high end and luxury market has really come into focus this year with more international cliental coming to Whistler that appreciate the quality and sophistication of the world renown architects, designers and builders that are creating the world class homes and condominiums here. Based on the current economic climate in Whistler and interest generated by the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games we expect to see a continuation of this trend.
