Whistler Schools

Whistler, B.C., through School District 48 offers students a great learning experience and opportunity for education. With unique programs for athletes that are customized to their training schedules as well as the traditional class room education, students are able to take part in an education program that best fits their unique learning requirements.

During the winter months elementary school students have a unique Physical Education program that meets every Monday on Whistler / Blackcomb Ski Mountain for a day of ski lessons and fun.

Whistler Secondary School consistently ranks in the top 20% of secondary schools throughout the Province of British Columbia and in addition to the traditional class room education, it offers programs for Local, Canadian and International athletes that combine sports training programs with education.

The two elementary schools in Whistler have grades K through 6 and the Whistler Secondary School has grades 7 through 12.

Elementary Schools:

Myrtle Philip Community School
opened in 1992 and is located in the Village area of Whistler on Lorimer Rd.
Spring Creek Elementary School
opened in South Whistler in 2004

Secondary School:

Whistler Secondary School
Has helped Whistler become a complete self contained Village Community serving all the local residents' needs. Currently there are approximately 390 students enrolled at Whistler Secondary.
